Today is the first day of school for the big kids. Calvin goes in to meet his Kindergarten teacher, but only stays for a little bit. Jocelyn and Katelyn rode the bus this morning and stay the full day. I can't believe I have a 4th grader!
I can remember 4th grade well. I had been bussed to the "projects" as part of a busing program in Louisville, Kentucky for 2nd and 3rd grade. In 4th grade I was able to return to the school that was located in my neighborhood. My mom took me, and because I was going to a different school I was nervous. I said the sh** swear word while walking up to the school and my mom smacked my mouth, haha! Then my teacher was pregnant and my dad kept saying, "I know what she's been doing...."
I have a very odd family ;)
This is the "bus stop dog." He comes to see the kids off and then wanders back home.
Kate turned back to wave "bye." Jocelyn could care less. She was OFF to socialize!
your girlies are so beautiful and I love the first photo of them together. You should scrap that ;)
