is my internet status.
One second it will be there. The next second it's gone.
That said, we will see if this post actually makes it to the WWW tonight!
We're here in the new house, and have been for 2 weeks. It's been nice not having internet because I've gotten a lot done. No I'm not completely unpacked. I know there are some of you that think I'm wonder woman... but we are no where close to normal life again! Especially since half our material possessions (including one couch, 2 book cases, and Jared's electronic workbench) are still in the garage. And although we have a 3 car garage now, all 3 cars are parked outside still!
I have however found time to potty train Calvin. Today was his first completely dry day. Which is really good considering I just started training him yesterday. Last night, he wanted to go to bed wearing his underwear. I didn't want him to, because I wasn't confident that he'd wake up in the middle of the night to go. So I let him fall asleep wearing underwear, and then snuck a diaper on him while he slept. He did wake up dry however! So, today I bought some Pull Up's for night, and we'll see how it goes from there. He is yet to #2 on the potty. He held it all day today, so tomorrow should be interesting ;)
Picture wise, I haven't taken much. 3 or 4 maybe. I did a wedding last weekend, and still have the pictures to edit from that. Then I have an edit request from a previous shoot that I need to get done yesterday. And I have several shoots on deck. So work wise, I'm swamped. Which is good ;)
The first morning in our new house, we woke up to this:

And, say "hello" to our newest resident/friend:
Yes, it's a bat clinging to our stucco. He/she's actually up pretty high. I had to get my 300mm telephoto out to snap this beauty. In the picture, he's kind of by the front door. He left for a couple of days, most likely because I have really loud kids. But I saw him clinging to the side of the garage. Then we had a huge wind storm, and I think he decided the side of the garage wasn't going to work! So he disappeared for a few days again. Then just today I saw that he's back in our portico... where he originated... only on a different wall (opposite the front door).
Every morning it's fun to see where he'll end up.
I hope we don't get rabies...
